Carlton Mid-ODI Tri-Series, 3rd ODI: India issued a warning ‘BELL’ courtesy Steven Finn

Riding on Ian Bell’s unbeaten gritty innings of 88 and Steven Finn’s five-wicket haul, England crushed India by 9 wickets in the third ODI of the Carlton Mid-ODI Tri-Series at Gabba. England achieved this victory with 135 balls to spare.

Resuming at 40/1, Bell and rookie James Taylor made light work of Indian bowlers and put on  for the second wicket to guide England home. Taylor, who notched up his third ODI fifty, remained unbeaten on 56.

Steven Finn was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant bowling spell of 8-0-33-5. 

England will now play the next ODI of this series against Australia on January 23rd at Hobart.
