The aggressive and destructive West Indies batsman, Chris Gayle has registered his name in the record books as he has become the first player on the planet to hit 700 sixes in T20 cricket. The aggressive opener achieved this feat in a match during the Caribbean Premier League, playing for Jamaica Tallawahs against the Trinbago Knight Riders. It was an all-important eliminator game where Jamaica team won a last over thriller to qualify for the final of the Caribbean premier league.

This is the biggest feat achieved in T20 cricket and we may never see someone even coming close to this record. Currently, Gayle’s teammate Kieron Pollard is second in the list with 412 sixes to his name. Pollard is far behind Gayle and surely it will not be easy for him to even come close to this record. Gayle still has 2-3 years to contribute to this game and we would like him to touch the 1000 mark in terms of hitting sixes to prove that why he is called world boss.
