Former India opener Virender Sehwag once used to mesmerize his fans all over the world with swashbuckling batting until he decided to retire last year.
With enough time in his hands after retirement, Sehwag looks making full use of it. Right now on a tour of US, Sehwag recently tweeted a picture in which he is at a baseball game in New York. The match was between the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins.

‘See ball, hit ball’ always remained his success mantra and he won many accolades for devastating the opposition bowling with ruthless mindset. An exceptional batsman, who with his casual approach normally used to sing and bat, Sehwag enjoyed a brilliant hand-eye co-ordination which eventually made him a player par excellence.
Viru has his trophy cabinet full of numerous Man of the Match awards and the famous Arjuna award in 2002, but awarded recently, a very special trophy will stand out from the rest and will be a cherished one for him. The ‘Sultan of Multan’ recently won an Oscar, but it’s not for acting but for being the ‘Best Dad’.
On the occasion of Father’s Day, Viru’s kids Aryair and Vedant presented their celebrity father a custom-made Oscar trophy. Viru even shared the picture of his trophy on Twitter.
One of India’s finest opening batsman, Sehwag retired from international cricket on October 20 last year bringing an end to an illustrious career spanning over a decade.
He has been proactive in social media ever since retired from cricket. Recently Sehwag, who had been Kumble’s team-mate for years said the ex-leggie who once bowled with a broken jaw in Antigua would be an inspiration for the players in the dressing room.
“Jumbo news 4Team India. Congrats @anilkumble1074. To have a coach who cud play wid broken jaw wud be an inspiration fr guys in dressing room,” Sehwag wrote on the social networking site.
