Australia’s woeful run on the subcontinent pitches continued as they were dismissed for  a paltry 106 runs on the second day of the second Test against Sri Lanka at Galle. Resuming on the overnight score of 54 for 2, the Australian batsmen could not add much as they lost their third and fourth wicket after adding only 5 runs.  Adam Voges and Mitchell Marsh then added 21 runs for the fifth wicket.But then a hat-trick from veteran spinner Rangana Herath opened the floodgates as the visitors lost their last six wickets for only 26 runs. Herath and Dilruwan Perera took four wickets apiece as Sri Lanka, after scoring 281 runs in the first innings, now leads the Aussies by 175 runs. Only three Aussie batsmen were able to cross the double digit mark.
