Eoin Morgan
Former Ireland cricketer and present England’s World Cup-winning limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan is currently one of the great left-handed batsmen in limited-overs cricket. He is a very consistent performer with the bat in the white-ball cricket.
While he has played 94 T20Is (scored 2240 runs), he has played 290 T20s and scored 6423 runs (average 26.98; strike-rate 132.56) including 36 fifties along with his best score 91 runs.
In his IPL career, Morgan served for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB; 2010), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR; 2011-2013), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH; 2015-2016) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP; 2017). After playing 52 IPL matches, Morgan has scored 854 runs (average 21.35; strike-rate 121.13) including four half-centuries.
While Morgan sometimes remained unavailable for the selection in IPL, majorly due to his national team duty, he hasn’t got consistent opportunities in many IPL seasons.
In the IPL 2020, Morgan will serve for the KKR. As he is now one of the in-form cricketers, Morgan is likely to get regular chances for the KKR in the upcoming IPL 2020, if he remains available for the selection.
