Former South African captain Faf du Plessis is one of the great batsmen at the present time. The right-handed batsman is a consistent performer, and he likes to bat aggressively if he gets set on the pitch.

In 219 T20s, Faf has scored 5258 runs (average 29.04; strike-rate 126.94) as a right-handed batsman, including one century and 31 half-centuries, and also he has taken 50 wickets as a leg-spinner.

In his IPL career, Faf has served for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK; 2011-2015 and 2018-present) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS; 2016-2017). After playing 71 IPL matches, Faf has scored 1853 runs (average 31.40; strike-rate 126.74), including 12 fifties. From 2016 to 2018, Faf didn’t get regular opportunities in the IPL.
