Former Sri Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne Dilshan was one of the great all-rounders of his country. As a right-handed batsman, Dilshan liked to bat aggressively. He was famous for the “Dilscoop” shot.

While Dilshan played 221 T20s, the right-handed batsman scored 5193 runs (average 27.04; strike-rate 122.82) and the off-spinner took 64 wickets. As a batsman, he hit one century and 34 fifties in the T20 career.

In his IPL career, Dilshan played for Delhi Daredevils (DD; 2008-2010) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB; 2011-2013). He scored 1153 runs in 52 IPL matches (average 26.81; strike-rate 114.49), including nine half-centuries. He also took five wickets in IPL career.

In his late career, Dilshan didn’t earn regular opportunities due to his weak performances. He was even unsold in the 2014 and 2015 IPL auctions.
