The Indian Premier League (IPL) is highly popular among global international cricketers. Many players now wish to experience the IPL, but not everyone manages to fulfill this dream.

Many recent great international cricketers have experienced the IPL. However, some of them have been underrated in this tournament, majorly due to their failure to perform according to their potential.

The Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi is one of the great all-rounders. Both as an off-spinner and as a right-handed batsman, Nabi is a very consistent performer in T20 cricket. If he gets the regular opportunity, he hardly disappoints the cricket fans.

After playing 268 T20s, Nabi has scored 4105 runs (average 22.67; strike-rate 141.40), including 11 fifties, and he has also taken 266 wickets.

Since 2017, Nabi is playing the IPL as he is serving for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). However, he hasn’t got many opportunities for the SRH. After playing 13 IPL matches, while he has taken 11 wickets, he has also scored 135 runs (average 15.00; strike-rate 148.35). While he played only 3 and 2 matches in the 2017 and 2018 editions respectively, he experienced 8 matches in the IPL 2019.

While the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the entire IPL 2020, Nabi can play a big role in his IPL side as he is very familiar with this condition.
