Want to be a professional cricketer?
Flamboyant Australian opener David Warner has said that he loves to thrive when the audience around him sledges him, an aspect that the Indian skipper Virat Kohli is a master of. Earlier, Matthew Wade had said that he will not like to indulge in a war of words with either Virat Kohli or team India as they thrive on it more often than not.
Virat Kohli, as everybody knows, is never away from on-field spats. He has had a lot of verbal altercations with various opposition players over the years. During India’s recent visit to the Kangaroos, Kohli went straight at Tim Paine, the Aussie Test captain and has been fierce with his jibes and his bat.
Now, David Warner has revealed the similarities between him and the Indian skipper and said that they both go about their jobs thriving on fans’ criticism.
David Warner Explains The Similarity Between Him And Virat Kohli
“I thrive on the crowd, I thrive on people sort of going at me in the field. And getting into that battle,” Warner told India Today television.
“I think Virat is quite similar, if you go a little bit at Virat he comes out harder with the bat and he plays amazing. We have seen that time and time again,” he added.
