The recent ball-tampering scandal has wrecked the cricketing world during the Cape Town Test where Cameron Bancroft was caught on camera trying to apply a foreign substance on the ball. Suspended skipper Steve Smith admitted that the leadership group had hatched a plan during the lunch interval to tamper with a ball with a yellow sand-paper. While Warner and Smith were handed a one-year suspension, Bancroft received a nine-month period.

Even head coach of the Australian team Darren Lehmann resigned from his post after the conclusion of the ongoing 4th Test at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Several world class cricketers have given their opinions on this particular incident which has been the hottest topics in the recent times. Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali shared his thoughts on the matter during a press conference.

“Look I don’t know how to tamper with the ball and neither have I ever learned to do this,” said Hasan.

However, Hasan said that it is a pretty common practice which has been done by generations after generations.

“Of course fast-bowlers do that and you can look at history for that. In cricket, this is called tactics and if you are caught then you are accused; in dry conditions, the ball gets scratched itself,” said the fast bowler.

Hasan has been one of the leading wicket-takers of Pakistan in international cricket in the recent times. The Windies are slated to play a three-match T20I series in Pakistan at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The series starts from tomorrow.

He is expected to play a crucial role in the upcoming series. He will be eager to give his best and Pakistan win their first full bilateral series against a top nation. He recently bagged 12 wickets in 9 games while playing for the Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.
