Every player dreams to score big runs in their cricket career. Though the responsibilities have been divided for the batsmen and bowlers, the bowlers also have the responsibilities to add value for the team with the bat too when they come to the crease.

While the genuine bowlers generally come to bat in the lower-order, except coming to bat as a night-watchman, some of them still dream of scoring at least one Test century in their career.

There are already some bowlers who have hit at least one century in their Test career.

Here we are talking about the five bowlers who can hit a Test century in future.

The 31-year-old New Zealand pacer Tim Southee is an aggressive lower-order batsman who can play a game-changer with the bat. While he has batted in 106 Test innings, the right-handed batsman has already registered five half-centuries.

Meanwhile, in his first-class career, Southee has already registered eight 50+ scores, including one three-figure knock.

In December 2012, during a Plunket Sheild match against the hosts Wellington, Northern District cricketer Tim Southee hit a game-changing century (156 runs) after coming to bat in the trouble situation. So, Southee can be the player to score a Test century as a lower-order batsman.
