Newlands, home of Western Province Cricket is one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the world. Nestled behind and at the foot of Table Mountain, it is one of the most picturesque places in the world to watch the game of cricket.
The 22-yards offered over here have assisted spin bowlers in the past and, in fact, most of South Africa’s spin bowlers have come from this region.
However, India has never won a Test match at this historic ground given the fact India has had quality spin bowlers. Out of the four matches played, India had drawn two and lost two.
