Harbhajan Singh adds yet another name to the number 4 saga of the Indian National Cricket Team. He asked the board to consider Sanju Samson as well at the number 4 slot. The youngster had a great game against South Africa A, for which, he received accolades from the fans and a few cricket experts.

Sanju Samson registered his highest List-A score of 91 as India A posted a strong total of 204/4 against South Africa A in a rain-curtailed match that was reduced to 20-over a side after a lengthy delay owing to a wet outfield at the Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.

The knock helped India A register a convincing win against South Africa A. India beaten them by 36 runs in the fifth unofficial ODI. The final ODI was delayed due to wet outfield and eventually reduced to a 20 overs per side game.
Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bat first. Shikhar Dhawan scored his second half-century on the trot despite a meaty blow to the head early on in the innings. Sanju Samson delivered an exhilarating performance while Iyer’s cameo helped India cross 200 runs on the board.
Chasing a target of 205, South Africa A got off to a poor start losing the wicket of opener Janneman Malan and skipper Temba Bavuma in the powerplay overs. The partnership between Reeza Hendricks and Kyle Verreynne for the third wicket helped them come back in the game.
However, South Africa A suffered a batting collapse losing seven wickets for just 25 runs getting bundled out for 168 losing the match by 36 runs. Shardul Thakur was the highest wicket-taker for the hosts with three wickets for 9 runs in his three overs.
