Hardik Pandya Suffers Hairline Fracture, All Set To Miss England ODIs
India’s seam bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya has suffered a hairline fracture in his left shoulder and will remain out of action for six weeks.
Hardik, who was released from the squad for fourth Test match against England in Mumbai earlier, has been confirmed to miss out on more cricketing action, including the ODI series against the visitors in January next year.
Pandya last played an ODI series against New Zealand at home, where he took four wickets and scored 45 runs. After making his debut against Australia in a T20 game at Adelaide, Pandya went onto play the Asia Cup and the World T20 later on. His heroics against Bangladesh in the World T20 game where he defended one run in three balls is still fresh in the memory.
India will play England the fourth Test at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, starting December 8.
