Harmanpreet Kaur slammed her fourth ODI century, slamming 109 off 107 deliveries against West Indies. Arriving at the crease when India were reeling at 78/3 in 13.5 overs, Harmanpreet Kaur forged a 184-run stand with opener Smriti Mandhana, who played a scintillating 123-run knock off just 119 deliveries.
With her century against the West Indies, Harmanpreet Kaur now has the most centuries by an Indian at the Women’s World Cups (3). The stylish batter slammed her first century in the tournament in 2013 against England when she remained unbeaten on 107.

Harmanpreet Kaur Slams 4th ODI Ton And 3rd World Cup Ton
Her second ton is widely regarded as one of the most dominating knocks in the history of the tournament, as she slammed an unbeaten 171 off just 115 deliveries in the semi-final of the 2017 World Cup, helping India to a 36-run victory. Harmanpreet Kaur went past Smriti Mandhana and Mithali Raj (both with two centuries) to reach the feat.
In the knock against the West Indies on Saturday, Harmanpreet Kaur smashed 10 fours and two sixes for his 109 off 107 deliveries. She was dismissed in the 49th over of the innings while going for a scoop shot against Aaliyah Alleyne.
India Women Score 317/8 Batting First Against West Indies
Earlier, Mithali Raj had won the toss and opted to bat against the Windies in Hamilton. The side made a fast-paced start with Yastika Bhatia – who had replaced Shafali Verma in the previous game – scoring 31 off 21. However, Mithali Raj (5) and Deepti Sharma (15) fell cheaply as India stared at another disappointing middle-order collapse.
However, Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana saved the day for the Indian team with excellent centuries, as the side ended the innings at 317/8 in 50 overs. India had made a winning start to their tournament against Pakistan (by 107) runs but faced a 62-run defeat to hosts New Zealand in their second match of the campaign.
Opener Smriti Mandhana started it and the vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur finished it as the two-star batters for the Indian team were involved in a record 184-run stand on Saturday. Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin have given West Indies a positive start as they aim to overhaul the 318-run target against India. West Indies Women have already more than 90 runs on the board in less than 12 overs.
