Harsha Bhogle is one of the commentators who hasn’t played cricket but unarguably he is the most knowledgable cricket-expert. Cricket lovers always wait to listen to his opinion, but recently with his comment on MS Dhoni‘s game style, has brought him under the scanner.
While giving the speech during an event, Harsha Bhogle talked about his journey where he compared it to Test cricket. He said that the Test cricketers have to play patiently unlike the ODIs and T20Is. But he referred MS Dhoni as a different player. He laughed and said that Dhoni scares as he initially started with a slow game but then took the pace and led to victory.
“Hanging in there is a great value in life itself which is what you are allowed to do in Test cricket. You can’t hang in there in a one-day game though Dhoni does it sometimes,” said Harsha Bhogle as the audience burst into laughter.
“He scares us but covers up afterward. But watching Dhoni is like watching a movie. You are waiting up, up and up and then he finally goes,” said Harsha Bhogle in the video posted by Brut India.

MS Dhoni hasn’t involved in cricket matches since the ICC CWC 2019
Currently, MS Dhoni is out of action. His unavailability is still raising a question mark on his future in the Indian team. He hasn’t played cricket after the disappointing semi-final defeat of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Soon after the World Cup, MS Dhoni took a sabbatical from the game and left for Jammu and Kashmir to serve the Indian army.
MS Dhoni has missed all the recent home series against West Indies, South Africa, and Bangladesh. While attending an event, he said that not to ask about his future plan till January.
