The Australian all-rounder, Hilton Cartwright has signed for English county side Middlesex for the upcoming County Championship.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Cartwright will play five County Championship games for the Middlesex team. He will replace his Western Australia skipper Adam Voges in the squad.
The Zimbabwean-born all-rounder has played only 33 first-class games. Further, he has scored over 2000 runs at an average of 43.60 and taken 19 wickets.

Also, he has played two Tests and two ODI for the Aussie team.
At the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) Cartwright made his Test debut against Pakistan in the series Down Under.
His international outings as well haven’t been too impressive. In both the ODIs, played against India last year, he managed to score only one run.
In Tests, he fared slightly better, scoring 55 runs in two innings. He hasn’t picked an international wicket as yet.
Hilton Cartright would want to make full use of English conditions in order to strengthen his CV.
The promising cricketer would further be looking forward to cementing his spot in the national fold.
