I Can See A Change In Hardik Pandya And KL Rahul After The Ban – Ravi Shastri
In the recently aired talk show named Koffee With Karan that has a huge fan base in India, Hardik Pandya has passed on sexist comments. Just after Hardik Pandya passing the comments, the people out there showed their anger on the social media causing outrage to Hardik Pandya. Eventually, it made an impact on his career alongside KL Rahul.
They have been under the pump and were also banned from playing all forms of the game for Indian Cricket. However, the suspension on the duo has been revoked by the respective Indian Cricket Board, as the supreme court has taken the case and appointed Ombudsman.
After a fine time, the punishment for the Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul has made its way. The Board of Control for Cricket In India‘s Ombudsman directed a fine in terms of Money in order to get away from the mistake that the duo committed in the National Television.
Despite that, they made a successful return to the game with more intent and determination in their cricketing career. Hardik Pandya made an astounding return while KL Rahul impressed selectors in the Australia series followed by IPL 2019.
You learn from your mistakes – Ravi Shastri
Meanwhile, the head coach Ravi Shastri quoted that he knew Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul will make a good return to the game of cricket. He mentioned that both the cricketers have become tougher, wiser and the stronger to deliver goods for the Indian National Cricket Team.
Shastri, in an interview with News 18, said that he always had confidence on the pair and knew they would come back stronger from suspension. “See, you learn from your mistakes, you learn from adversities. And I said at that time, they’ll come back tougher, stronger and wiser and I can see that with the both of them,” Shastri said.
Both the cricketers donated INR 1 Lakh each for the 10 families of the Martyrs in the para-military forces. And also, they donated INR 10 Lakhs for the development of the Blind Cricket in India. They made that as the punishment for their reckless comments on the national show.
However, as Ravi Shastri said, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have made a strong comeback. Hardik Pandya finished IPL 2019 as the second most valuable player of the tournament while KL Rahul was one of the contenders for Orange Cap throughout the season.
