Ian Bishop calls tour collapse a ‘wake-up-call’

Shashi / 24 October 2014

Former West Indies pace bowler Ian Bishop said that the West Indies cricket team should see its India tour collapse as a “wake-up-call”. According to the media, the team left India after the 4th One Day International at Dharamsala because of discourse between West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and players. Ian added that it must be a wake-up call because any team who was going to ask the West Indies to their countries will keep this incident at the mind.

In an interview he told the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) must be careful that if they insolvent West Indies it decreases the presentation of world cricket. The West Indies withdrawal came with five matches still scheduled on the tour.
