ICC World Cup 2019: BCCI Announce 15-Man Squad for Tournament
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the much-awaited squad for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. India will begin their World Cup campaign against South Africa at Southampton on June 5. In fact, India is regarded as one of the favourites for the World Cup 2019.
Consequently, India will like to bring their best to the table in the forthcoming quadrennial event. They have played consistent cricket in the last four years and would like to come up with their best performance in the upcoming tourney.

Hardik Pandya will be India’s first choice all-rounder in the forthcoming World Cup. Pandya hasn’t played a lot of ODI cricket in the recent past due to his injury and suspension. However, Pandya made a solid return in the ODI series against New Zealand.

Kumar has scalped 118 wickets in 105 ODI matches at an average of 35.91.
Kuldeep Yadav can be the X-factor in the World Cup. The mystery chinaman has a plethora of variations under his kitty which helps him in bamboozling the opposition batsmen. Yadav bowls slow through the air which assists him in extracting more spin from the surface.
Yuzvendra Chahal has hunted in tandem with Kuldeep Yadav. Chahal has bowled with great control in the recent past. The leg-spinner isn’t afraid to get hit for the runs as he always looks for the wickets.
Furthermore, Chahal can provide the crucial breakthroughs in the middle overs which is going to be crucial. Chahal will like to be at the top of his game in the forthcoming ICC World Cup.

Vijay Shankar impressed with his performances on the tour of New Zealand. Shankar has a compact batting technique and he can deliver the goods in the English conditions.
KL Rahul has returned back to form in the ongoing Indian Premier League. The flamboyant batsman had scored a fine hundred against Mumbai Indians, which was his maiden IPL hundred. Rahul will like to make most of his good form as he could be India’s back-up opener.
