ICC World Cup 2019: Match 11, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka – Pakistan Predicted Playing XI; After a tumble against Windies team in the first game of the tournament, Pakistan showed their brilliance by outsmarting England team in their second game. Now, they are all set to take on the Sri Lankan team, who thrashed Afghanistan in the rain-curtailed game.
Pakistan Predicted Playing XI:
1. Imam Ul Haq:
The stylish southpaw got the start against England but failed to convert it. However, he would get one more chance as he got the skills to take the game away from the opposition. Imam also got a good record against England.
2. Fakhar Zaman:
The left-handed swashbuckling batsman got the decent start in both the games but failed to capitalise it. However, Fakhar Zaman got a decent record against England, which would push him to do things right.
3. Babar Azam:
Can they afford to leave him? The stylish batsman is one of their best batsmen in the ranks. He got the calibre to take the game away from the opposition with ease.
4. Asif Ali:
The youngster would get the nod once again for the team in the tournament. Though he fared poorly against England, he got the calibre to score big knocks for the team.
5. Mohammad Hafeez:
He was the man of the match for Pakistan in the previous. Hafeez showed what experience brings to the team. Besides his batting, he is equally impressive with his bowling as well.
6. Sarfaraz Ahmed:
The Wicketkeeper-batsman fared pretty poorly against Windies. Not only with the bat but also failed to execute things with his captaincy. However, he made a solid return against England.
7. Shoaib Malik:
Probably, they would strengthen their batting department by going with their experienced lad. The right-handed batsman will bring perfect balance to the side and can tackle the situations.
8. Shadab Khan:
Shadab Khan would get the nod ahead of Imad once again. The conditions would suit him better and also bats well during the crunch situations of the time. The unfortunate to miss out the selection is Wasim.
9. Mohammad Amir:
The experienced lad showed why he is the best in the business. Despite the other bowlers leaking runs for the team, Amir was brilliant with his skills for the team. Amir finished with decent numbers in both the games.
10. Wahab Riaz:
The flamboyant cricketer made a perfect return against England. He would once again get the nod for the clash, as he is aware of the opposition batsmen. Wahab Riaz would play a key role again.
11. Hassan Ali:
He is yet to take a wicket. However, he bowled a brilliant economical spell when it requires the most. Apart from that, he brings variety to the squad, as the other two fast bowlers are left-handers.
