ICC World Cup 2019: Match 18, India vs New Zealand – Weather Report; Well, usually, the cricket fanatics and experts used to check the condition of the pitches and the compositions of the teams for a high-profile clash. However, of late, the weather forecast is becoming the primary aspect, as the games in England always depends on the availability of the rain.
India takes on Kane Williamson-led New Zealand in an important game at Trent Bridge on Thursday. Both New Zealand and India are unbeaten so far in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. India will present New Zealand their stiffest challenge in the World Cup so far and it should be a cracker of a game.
However, both teams will keep an eye on the weather in Nottingham where the threat of rain looms large. The practice session was washed on Tuesday but the teams could manage to train for an hour on Wednesday after which the rain returned.
Both teams are yet to lose a game in the tournament:
India is on a roll after their victories over South Africa and Australia. New Zealand has so far defeated Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Neither team, therefore, would be keen to share points. 3 matches have already been washed out due to rain and teams would want to get as many points as they can muster in the first half of the tournament.

Nottingham hasn’t witnessed any glimpse of the sun since Monday, so it remains to be seen how outfield will dry up and the pitch has been under covers all this time.
However, if everything falls in place for the cricketing fanatics, the weather would allow the game with a chilled climate.
Despite the tricky weather circumstances, the good thing about Nottingham is that they have a good drainage system and also got efficient ground staff, who are capable of making things look good.
