Well, there are no changes to the squad for the Indian Cricket Team, who will travel to England for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. All the players are fit enough to make into the squad without any injury concerns including Kedar Jadhav as the team physio satisfied with Jadhav’s progress.

Finally, the wait for the decision on Kedar Jadhav is over, as the pocket-dynamite is all set to travel to England for the ICC World Cup 2019. The flamboyant batsman had made enough recovery to stay in the Indian National Cricket Team for the ICC World Cup 2019. The team Physio Patrick Farhart submitted the report to BCCI.

The middle-order batsman was doubtful for the World Cup after picking up a shoulder injury while playing for his Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings in their last game of the recently-concluded season.

Kedar Jadhav hurt his shoulder when he attempted a diving stop near the boundary fence against Kings XI Punjab. He was immediately taken out of the game and was sent to the doctors for scanning. The reports which emerged out saw him being ruled out from the IPL 2019 playoffs.

Kedar Jadhav will be available for the South Africa game:

Speaking of the Kedar Jadhav injury, the chairman of the selection panel, MSK Prasad quoted that they have received the medical report from the team physio, which is satisfying enough. He also revealed that Jadhav will be available for the selection against South African side.

“We have got the medical certificate declaring Jadhav is fit to play in the World Cup. He will travel to the UK with the rest of the squad on Wednesday,” chief selector MSK Prasad informed said Monday.

”We received the fitness certificate from Farhart on Monday and we are satisfied with the report. Jadhav should be available for India’s first game against South Africa,” Prasad said.

However, it would be a piece of good news for the team. His unorthodox bowling and ability to get runs under his belt for the team would be a major factor during the crunch situations of the game in the tournament.

So far, Kedar Jadhav has played 59 ODI matches for India amassing 1174 runs at an average of 43.48. He also has 27 wickets to his name in the format. His unpredictability with the ball will be a crucial factor for India.
