ICC World Cup 2019: Ravindra Jadeja Sends Emotional Message To Fans
Following the stunning knock against New Zealand, the left-handed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja comes up with an emotional message to fans. He wants to fight for his country till the last breath of his life and asked fans to keep supporting him.
Ravindra Jadeja walked out to bat when India had lost Hardik Pandya for 32 in the 31st over of their 240-run chase at Old Trafford on the reserve day of the World Cup 2019 semi-final after rain played spoilsport on Tuesday.
Jadeja joined MS Dhoni when India was reeling at 92 for 6 but the left-hander played with a lot of positive intent from the word go to keep India’s hopes alive.
With Dhoni taking the time in the middle, Jadeja did all the damage by walking down the pitch against both pacers and spinners. Jadeja was severe against left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner as he was comfortable dancing down the track and hitting him out of the park.
Ravindra Jadeja and Dhoni kept putting pressure on the New Zealand fielders as the two kept stealing the extra run whenever possible. Jadeja and Dhoni added 106-runs for the 7th wicket and took India closer to New Zealand’s total. Jadeja perished for 77 from 59 balls, hitting 4 sixes and as many boundaries.
Thank you for all the support – Ravindra Jadeja
Jadeja tried to hit a big one in the 48th over against Boult and got caught in the deep. Following the loss, the stylish southpaw came up with a tweet asking the fans to back him.
Digging into his tweet, it read ”Sports has taught me to keep on rising after every fall & never to give up. Can’t thank enough each & every fan who has been my source of inspiration. Thank you for all your support. Keep inspiring & I will give my best till my last breath. Love you all.”
