ICC World Cup 2019: Shoaib Malik Slams Media And Fans For Dragging Families Into ”Petty Discussions”

Recently, we came across the Pakistan fans and media lashing out at Sania Mirza for taking her husband Shoaib Malik and the other cricketers for the night-out party ahead of the game against Indian National Cricket Team. A section of people blamed her for the loss against India and called her an Indian agent.
Ahead of the game, the wife of Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza alongside a few other cricketers of the team have visited the nearest hotel for a dinner. Few of those pictures went viral in social media.
A section of the Pakistan fans targetted Sania Mirza. They cited that she was helping the Indians by taking the Pakistan cricketers for a night out ahead of the crucial match in the next morning.
According to the netizens and a viral video online, Shoaib Malik who registered a golden duck during the match was spotted at a sheesha lounge with Sania Mirza and other Pakistani cricketers, in the lead-up to the crucial match. The trolls blamed Sania Mirza for his performance on the field during the match.
Apart from that, the Netizens also blames Sania Mirza for the poor form of Shoaib Malik in the tournament. Adding concerns, he was dismissed for a golden duck in the match against India. The inside edge disturbed his stumps off Hardik Pandya bowling.
Shoaib Malik Urges to stop dragging families on behalf of Athletes:
Meanwhile, the right-handed batsman of Pakistan, who is the husband of Sania Mirza asked media and the fans to stop involving the families of athletes into those discussions. Further, he went on to say that it isn’t a good thing to drag families into those petty discussions.
‘On behalf of all athletes, I would like to request media and people to maintain respect levels in regards to our families. They should not be dragged into petty discussions at will. It’s not a nice thing to do,” Shoaib Malik said.

Well, it would be interesting to see whether the fans of Pakistan would move on from the game against India or not. Currently, they are having a tough time in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019.
