Well, there can’t be a game without the name of Virender Sehwag relating to it when the game is between the Indian National Cricket team and Pakistan. Somehow, the former Swashbuckling batsman would take all the attention either with his tweet or with his commentary.
Once again, he does the same following an easy victory for the Indian team on June 16th At Manchester. The former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag dressed like a Baba and kept a sad expression by stating that it was yet another one-sided victory.
The Indian team led by Virat Kohli has displayed top-class skills on the other day at Manchester against Pakistan team. They completely thrashed Pakistan in all sections of the game. They not only received 2 points from the game but also dented Pakistan’s Net-Run-Rate, which would play a key role in their journey.
Once again a one-sided contest – Virender Sehwag
Getting into the details of the game, riding on Rohit Sharma’s blistering century, India managed to post a massive tally on the board, thanks to Kohli who took on the onus of keeping the scoreboard moving after Rohit’s departure. However, the late strikes from Mohammad Amir saw India posting 336 on the board, which looked like crossing 400 at one stage.
In reply, they started things poorly with Imam walking back for a cheap score, courtesy a wicket on the first delivery from Vijay Shankar.
Later, Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam tried their best. But, Kuldeep Yadav changed the complexion of the game with his brilliant bowling. It triggered the middle-order collapse, which saw the Indian team winning their 7th world cup game against Pakistan.
Well, the game against Pakistan has helped India to gain two points in their kitty. They are currently placed third in the points table with 7 points in their kitty. Australians are leading the chart with 8 victories in their five games.
