The long-awaited ICC World Cup 2023 is set to commence on October 5th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, as confirmed by the ICC on Tuesday (June 27). Fans can now mark their calendars, as the full schedule for the competition has been unveiled, with the final also slated to take place in Ahmedabad on November 19.
This edition of the tournament will feature a total of 10 teams. Eight of these teams, namely India, England, New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and New Zealand, have already secured their spots in the event. The remaining two teams will be determined through the ongoing ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023.
The tournament’s format mirrors that of the 2019 edition. Each team will face off against the other nine teams once during the group stage. Following this, the top four teams will advance to the semifinals, where they will battle it out for a place in the final.

ICC World Cup 2023 – Australia World Cup schedule:
Five-time winners Australia will begin their campaign in ICC World Cup 2023 against hosts and fellow favourites India on October 8 in Chennai. On October 13, they will be in action again when they take on South Africa in Lucknow.
3 Days later, they will play against one of qualifying teams before locking horns against Pakistan in Bengaluru on October 20. The Kangaroos will play their final league game on November 12 when they take on Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
