On Tuesday, Patna police arrested India’s U19 cricket captain Ishan Kishan in a case of alleged reckless driving. The 17-years old has allegedly hit an auto-rickshaw from behind when he was driving his father’s car. The people, who were sitting in the auto-rickshaw, got injured too. There was another allegation against Ishan that he misbehaved with the people.
According to the reports, Ishan was driving his father’s car when he overstepped and crashed into the back of the vehicle. Following the impact of the collision, people sitting inside the vehicle suffered injuries.
Ishan was beaten up by some people on the place after that incident. The onlookers called up the police to solve that matter. Patna Police arrested Ishan and the other people, who were involving in that hassle, after reaching that place. Police also seized Ishan’s car.
Ishan is a wicketkeeper-batsman who represents Jharkhand at the state level. He was named as Indian U19 captain for the 2016 ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in December 2015. Recently, he was in the excellent form in the domestic circuit.
He made his debut for Jharkhand in March 2014 as 16-years old. He has played 10 first-class matches (matches which are not in limited overs) for Jharkhand where he scored 736 runs with the average of 40.88.
Ishan considers Indian limited-over captain MS Dhoni and former Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist as his cricketing idols.
The 2016 ICC U19 Cricket World Cup will start from 27 January in Bangladesh.
