On Sunday (8th December) night, the hosts India and the visiting team Windies will face each other in the second T20I of the three-match T20I series. Greenfield International Stadium (Thiruvananthapuram) will host this T20I.
India are leading this series by 1-0 after winning the opening game of this series. On last Friday (6th December), they played that series opener at Hyderabad and India successfully chased their record T20I target (208 runs) in 18.4 overs after losing four wickets.

i) Rohit Sharma (399 sixes) is one six away to complete his 400 international sixes. After Chris Gayle (534 sixes) and Shahid Afridi (476 sixes), Rohit Sharma will become the third batsman to hit at least 400 international sixes.
ii) The leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (52 wickets) is one wicket behind to become the leading T20I wicket-taker for India as he is currently India’s joint-most T20I wicket-taker. Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has also taken 52 T20I wickets.
iii) Virat Kohli (975 runs) is 25 runs away to become the third batsman to score 1,000 T20I runs at home. Only New Zealand cricketers Martin Guptill (1,430 runs) and Colin Munro (1,000 runs) have scored 1,000 or more T20I runs at home.
iv) Virat Kohli (99 sixes) needs to hit one more six to become the sixth Indian batsman to hit 100 international sixes.
