Cheteshwar Pujara
The Test specialist batsman Cheteshwar Pujara featured in the 2016/17 Duleep Trophy where he played for India Blue. He played two matches in that tournament and finished as the leading run-scorer. The right-handed batsman scored 453 runs in three innings with an average of 226.50.
During India Blue’s second game against India Green, Pujara scored 166 and 31 runs. In the final of that tournament, Pujara became the first Indian to hit a double-century in the day-night pink-ball first-class match. He scored 256 not out against India Red in the first innings of that game.
Hanuma Vihari
The Indian Test middle-order batsman Hanuma Vihari has impressed with his batting performance in this special game too. Serving in India Blue, he played only one game during the 2017/18 Duleep Trophy. In that match against India Red, Vihari came to bat as an opener and scored 105 runs.
