The Carribean all-rounder was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for a whopping Rs 7.20 crores and he did justice to his reputation. He kept taking wickets in every match and proved to be the difference for Rajasthan Royals. His toe crushing Yorkers was simply unplayable at times.

He ended the tournament with 15 scalps from 10 matches at an impressive average of 21 and an economy rate of 8.36. Despite his heroics with the ball, Archer failed to make a mark with the bat. He is known to play the big shots to perfect which was evident in the Big Bash League. However, his bowling performance is enough to force Rajasthan to retain him.
