IPL 2019: 25th Match, Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings – Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing XI
IPL 2019: 25th Match, Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings – Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing XI; It was an unfortunate run so far for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League 2019. They have been pretty close to the victories in more than a couple of games but unfortunately, they ended up on the wrong side of things.
Rajasthan Royals Squad:
|Manan Vohra*||Riyan Parag*||Ish Sodhi||Oshane Thomas*|
|Ajinkya Rahane||Ashton Turner*||M Lomror||Varun Aaron*|
|Sanju Samson (wk)||S Ranjane*||Jaydev Unadkat*|
|Aryaman Birla||L Livingstone*||Dhawal Kulkarni|
|Prashant Chopra||Shashank Singh*||S. Midhun|
|Rahul Tripathi||K Gowtham|
|Steven Smith||Shreyas Gopal|
|Jos Buttler (wk)||Stuart Binny|
Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing XI:
The skipper failed to make his presence felt on the side. Apart from one good knock against Hyderabad, he hasn’t done anything better for the team. However, he would like to show his class against Chennai Super Kings.
Jos Buttler has been fantastic for Rajasthan Royals in this season as well. Especially, in the home conditions, he is doing pretty well for the team. His performance will be key against for Rajasthan facing CSK.
Sanju Samson has been in excellent touch and scored a fine century. The young Kerala batsman missed out a couple of games due to a niggle. Hopefully, he makes his way back into the side.
It seems like Steven Smith is coming into his zone. He played brilliantly against Challengers and smashed a superb fifty against KKR in tough circumstances. Steven Smith would be eager to show his class for CSK.
Ben Stokes had done a pretty decent job for the team in both sections of the game. Surprisingly, he played like a club cricketer against KKR franchise. However, he would like to deliver a match-winning performance.
Rahul Tripathi has been decent enough in the season so far. He will look to make a similar kind of impact when he faces CSK. Rahul can play shots in the lower-order and will be a good addition to the team and can also be a floater.
Krishnappa Gowtham hasn’t had much of a success with the bat or with the ball in the edition for Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Rajasthan would like to rely their trust on the youngster, perhaps, one last time.
Despite Rajasthan Royals struggling to find grip in the tournament, Jofra Archer has improved with all-around qualities. He has been brilliant for the team and would like to make the most of the opportunity in the game against CSK. Last time, he was a force to reckon with against CSK.
He has been the headliner in the previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Once again, Kulkarni will be the man for Rajasthan to bowl those economical overs with crucial wickets in the middle.
Dhawal Kulkarni has played most of his cricket for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. The experienced cricketer needs to understand the importance of the situation and rise up to the team’s cause.
Rajasthan would give one more chance to the fast bowler. He got a chance against RCB but bowled an expensive over, which saw him being missed out from the next game.
Batting – 8/10
So far, it wasn’t that great from Rajasthan middle-order lineup. They are heavily based on the performances of the top 3. Hopefully, the middle-order will fire in this game.
Bowling – 8/10
Apart from Jofra Archer and Shreyas Iyer, none of the bowlers achieved success in the tournament. It would be interesting to see how they tackle the batting lineup of KKR.
