They dominated things thoroughly to make it 2 wins in their 2 games on a trot. Dwayne Bravo was the star with the ball while Watson and Co chased down the tally.
Earlier in the match, it looked like a high-scoring game at Feroz Shah Kotla. However, Dwayne Bravo’s spell completely changed the scheme of things. In the end, it looked like a one-sided contest.
Turning point of the match:
Of course, the 2nd over of Dwayne Bravo‘s spell was the turning point of the game. He injected a double-wicket over and then sent down Shikhar Dhawan when he looked like boosting the run rate. Despite going for 17 runs in his first over, Bravo conceded just 16 runs for 3 wickets in remaining 3 overs.
Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings – 2nd innings
In reply to Delhi’s 147, Chennai Super Kings lost Ambati Rayudu for a cheap score. After scoring 5 runs, he went for a wild heave against Ishant Sharma, which took a top edge and landed safely in the hands of Shreyas Iyer.
However, Suresh Raina and Shane Watson smashed Delhi bowlers to all corners of the park with their stylish strokeplay. Both Raina and Watson looked pretty comfortable in the middle, who put on 52 runs partnership for the second wicket.
In between, Amit Mishra outfoxed Shane Watson when Rishabh Pant pulled out a stumping. However, Raina and Number 4 Kedar Jadhav looked rock solid in the middle. Suresh Raina, in particular, looked brilliant with his strokeplay. However, Mishra once again struck to send Raina back to the hut.
MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav added 48 runs partnership before Kedar losing his wicket when team required 2 runs off 5 balls. After that, Dwayne Bravo played a couple of dots and then smashed a boundary.

However, he failed to repeat the strokes against Deepak Chahar, who saw him walking back to the hut. In between, the flamboyant Shikhar Dhawan knocked runs at a good strike rate to steady the innings alongside the skipper Shreyas Iyer.
The duo added 43 runs for the second wicket before Imran Tahir trapping Iyer in front of the wicket. Unlike the previous game, the management sent Rishabh Pant at number 4 to go for a kill against CSK death bowling.
In between, Shikhar Dhawan also boosted the scoreboard by finding the fence more often than not. The best in the business Dwayne Bravo was smashed to 17 runs in his first over of the game, which changed the scheme of things for Delhi.
