Finally, Kings XI Punjab gets their title sponsor for the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League. Thankfully, they found their sponsor ahead of their first game in the form of Aaj Tak, if not, it would have been a major loss for Preity Zinta’s franchise. Now, it is a win-win deal for both the top brands.
Punjab is set to face their first clash against Rajasthan Royals on Monday. It will be their away game, as Rajasthan set to host the event. Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab launched their new jersey on Sunday and announced a range of partners that will support the team this season in the VIVO Indian Premier League.

On board as the Title Sponsor for the season is Aaj Tak. They will occupy their place on the front of the Kings XI Punjab Jersey this year. Aaj Tak has been one of the top news channels for the last 19 years and Kings XI Punjab added that they are proud to associate with them.
Speaking further, they expressed their delight to join Aaj Tak. The CEO of Kings XI quoted that the team is in a pretty good space and are hopeful of making IPL 2019 a successful one for the franchise. He also lauded Aaj Tak for their service over the years.

In the recent reports, it is learnt that the delay has harmed the Mohali-based IPL team’s interests severely. The team has priced the title at less than 50% of the CSK or Mumbai Indians title price tag. The last time sponsor Kent RO backed out to extend their work.
For Chennai Super Kings, they got strong support in the form of Muthoot Finance. Meanwhile, for Royal Challengers, Virat Kohli’s Wrogn will be the title sponsor. The notable brands Samsung and Nokia will sponsor Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively.
