Here is Sunrisers Hyderabad Predicted Playing XI:
1. Martin Guptill:
The Kiwis batsman is playing brilliant strokes just like Bairstow did for SRH in the initial overs. However, the problem is that he isn’t continuing it. SRH would hope him come good against DC.
2. Wriddhiman Saha:
He would once again go after the bowlers in the powerplay overs. SRH management will hope him get a good score to his name in the all-important clash.
3. Manish Pandey:
He made perfect use of the new position with his blistering knock. Manish Pandey looked all-together in a different zone at number 3, especially, against spinners. He would love to repeat the same.
4. Kane Williamson:
The skipper played a fantastic knock against RCB on the other day. He would love to repeat the same for the team on the tough surface, which would host the game.
5. Vijay Shankar:
The classy right-handed batsman will certainly play in the middle-order for the team. Besides his batting, he can be handy with the ball as well. Shankar needs to come up with a good knock.
6. Yusuf Pathan:
The pinch hitter would certainly make into the playing XI. He got those incredible skills of taking the game away from the opposition and can bowl that useful couple of overs for the team.
7. Mohammad Nabi:
The Afghanistan spinner has been brilliant for the team in the initial phase of the tournament but slowly, he lost his mojo with the ball for the team. However, Vizag pitch would assist him.
8. Rashid Khan:
Rashid Khan is one of their match-winners in the game. Can they afford to go without his name on the playing XI? He has been a regular contributor to the team. However, he is yet to deliver match-winning performance.
9. Khaleel Ahmed:
The left-handed fast bowler has been brilliant for the team with his variations. He has been delivering the goods on a regular basis, which would certainly put him in the playing XI.
10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
The senior bowler is delivering the goods when it mattered the most. He would be the key for the team in the all-important clash on Wednesday.
11. Shahbaz Nadeem:
The SRH management would be tempted to go with him, as the pitch would assist the spinners. Nadeem has been decent in whatever chances he got so far.
Ratings:
Batting – 8.5/10:
The absence of Warner and Bairstow is clearly visible on the team. They need the magical knock from Manish Pandey to make things fall in place for the team.
Bowling – 9/10
It has been their strength over the years. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Khaleel are in a decent form. Rashid Khan needs to join the part as quickly as possible.
