IPL 2019: Kedar Jadhav Ruled Out Of Playoffs For Chennai Super Kings
There comes the major blow for Chennai Super Kings ahead of the Qualifier-1 back home. The pocket dynamite Kedar Jadhav has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament owing to shoulder injury. As the tournament came to the business end, no replacement can be chosen for CSK.
Kedar Jadhav hurt his shoulder when he attempted a diving stop near the boundary fence against Kings XI Punjab. He was immediately taken out of the game and was sent to the doctors for scanning. The reports finally emerged out, which ruled him out from the IPL 2019.
The Lion Will Be Sitting Out – CSK
The official social media panel of Chennai Super Kings confirmed the news on Twitter. However, they haven’t mentioned the magnitude of the injury and the recovery period. It means that it is yet to be known whether Kedar Jadhav will be available for the ICC World Cup 2019 or not.
Digging into their tweet, it read ”The Lion that will be sitting it out for the rest of the season. Wishing our Kedar a super speedy recovery from the sustained shoulder injury! The Pride will miss you.”

However, this could be the blessing in disguise for Chennai Super Kings, as Kedar Jadhav isn’t in a good form of late. Apart from the first couple of games, he never came good for the team. The skipper MS Dhoni hasn’t used him to bowl even a single over as well.
Most probably, the young Dhruv Shorey would replace Kedar Jadhav in the playing XI. Though Murali Vijay did well in the single game, MS Dhoni would stick with the same openers, who delivered for the team more often than not.
As far as Kedar Jadhav is concerned, he would love to recover as quickly as possible with his first ICC World Cup is around the corner. He would hope to be fit before the team travels to England for the ICC World Cup 2019.
