IPL 2019, Match 20: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals- DC Predicted Playing XI

Delhi Capitals will look to get their campaign right back on track when they meet the Royal Challengers Bangalore tomorrow night in the 20th match of Vivo IPL 12. Delhi Capitals have a young team which lacks experience. It has resulted in their defeat in the match against the Kings XI Punjab. However, they will be upbeat against the Royal Challengers Bangalore as they are the only franchise who is yet to win a match in the tournament so far.

Now with the 20th match of the tournament slated to be played in Bangalore, let us have a look at the Predicted Playing XI of Delhi Capitals.

Prithvi Shaw

The opener failed scored just 11 runs in the previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and failed to bother the scorers in the earlier match. However, he has looked in great touch in the tournament and scored a 99 against the Kolkata Knight Riders. He is an impressive player and will look to get his franchise off to a good start

Shikhar Dhawan

The southpaw is one of the finest openers in Indian cricket currently. He has looked in good touch in the tournament so far but hasn’t got the desired big shots which he would like. The southpaw will open the innings with Prithvi Shaw and will look to get his franchise off to a good start.

Shreyas Iyer

The skipper is one of the most important batsmen for Delhi Capitals in the middle order. He has the ability to play the waiting game to perfection and can also play the big shots to perfection. However, as a captain, he has done a good job for the franchise. They did lose the last two games but his captaincy and fielding placements were pretty impressive.

Rishabh Pant

The pocket-sized dynamite has been one of the talking points of the tournament due to his exceptional six hitting abilities. He is a powerful striker of the ball and can change the complexion of the match within a single over. Rishabh Pant took a stunning one-handed catch a couple of matches ago but needs overall improvement in the wicket-keeping department.

Colin Ingram

The South African left-handed batsman has looked in good touch in the tournament so far and has become a vital cog for them in the middle order. However, he has failed to make a mark in the last few matches which hasn’t Delhi Capitals in the middle order.

Axar Patel

The left-arm spinner made his first appearance in the tournament in the last match. He had a huge impact when he used to play for the Kings XI Punjab. He should get another game against Bangalore tomorrow where he will surely look to make an impact for his franchise.

Chris Morris

IPL

The South African all-rounder was at his best with the ball against the Kings XI Punjab and returned with a couple of scalps in his 4 overs spell. Coming lower in the batting order, Chris Morris also has the ability to smash some lusty blows and turn the complexion of a match within an over.

Harshal Patel

The all-rounder has done a commendable job for Delhi Capitals in the couple of matches he has played so far. He bagged two crucial wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders and bowled in good areas. Harshal Patel will also look to contribute with the bat if he gets an opportunity.

Ishant Sharma

The lanky speedster should return for a big match for Delhi Capitals. He had sustained an injury and had to miss the last couple of matches. He made a comeback in the previous game and bowled just a solitary over where he bagged a wicket.

Kagiso Rabada

He has been the standout bowler for Delhi Capitals in the tournament so far. He bowled a sensational Super over to hand DC a victory against KKR. Kagiso Rabada also bowled brilliantly against Kings XI Punjab which actually helped them restrict Punjab to a manageable score. In the last, match he went for a few runs but bagged a crucial wicket.

Sandeep Lamichhane

The Nepalese leg-spinner is the only player from his country to play in the IPL. Lamichane is a good option to have for any captain and he made a difference for them in the matches he has played in the tournament so far. Even in the previous game, Lamichhane bowled very well and troubled the Kings XI Punjab batters.
