Mumbai Indians (MI) is one of the famous and successful teams in IPL history. They have won three IPL trophies which is the joint-most number of IPL trophies for any team along with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Mumbai Indians started their last IPL season as the defending champions but finished in the fifth position in IPL 2018.

While IPL 2019 is set to begin on 23rd March, Mumbai Indians will play their first match on 24th March. It will be the third match of the tournament while Mumbai Indians will face Delhi Capitals (DC) at Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai).
