Well, it has been a brilliant show by both the sides at Wankhede Stadium. The classy knocks from Quinton de Kock and Manish Pandey kept fans on edge of the seats. In the end, it was the super over, which was needed to declare the winner tonight. The home side Mumbai Indians sealed the victory in the end.

Initially, it was Rohit Sharma, who won the toss and elected to bat first. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock started things off in a flash by smashing the boundaries more often than not. However, the 1-run over from Rashid Khan kept pressure back on Mumbai Indians, which saw Rohit Sharma mistiming Khaleel Ahmed.

However, Surya Kumar Yadav and Quinton de Kock gave a much-needed boost in the middle-overs to make things fall in place. They both went after SRH bowlers to gain momentum in the middle overs. Meanwhile, Khaleel Ahmed removed Surya Kumar to bring back SRH into the game.

It was quickly followed by the wicket of Evin Lewis, who failed to get the elevation on the ball off Mohammad Nabi. As usual, Hardik Pandya batted with a sheer dominance in the middle overs to boost the total in middle overs.

However, in the end, they managed to post 162 on the board. For Hyderabad, every bowler contributed when it mattered the most. Especially, Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the death overs. In reply to the chase, Saha and Guptill started things in a fine fashion for the team

But, the brilliant Jasprit Bumrah removed both the openers to help Mumbai sit on the top. However, Manish Pandey showed his class yet again for the team. The final six saw SRH levelling the scores to take the game into super over.

The super-over saw Manish Pandey losing his wicket on the first ball when he tried for the second run. However, it was Nabi, who smashed a six to give something for SRH to defend.
