IPL 2019: Twitter Reacts To Mumbai Indians’ Heroics At Chinnaswamy
It was a brilliant first inning for Mumbai Indians in the 7th match of the Indian Premier League 2019 facing Royal Challengers Bangalore. Batsmen came to the party when it mattered the most to post a massive total on the board. However, they would be disappointed for not scoring over 200 runs on the board.
Initially, it was Virat Kohli, who won the toss, asked Mumbai Indians to bat first. Rohit Sharma, as said in the toss time, played attacking strokes to give an initial advantage for the team. Meanwhile, Quinton de Kock also displayed his strokes but failed to convert into a big one.
It was Umesh Yadav, who sent back Rohit Sharma to the pavilion, while Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Quinton de Kock. In between, Surya Kumar Yadav showed his brilliance with the bat by knocking Bangalore bowlers to all corners of the park.
Yuvraj Singh showed his class by smashing Yuzvendra Chahal to three sixes in an over. However, while trying to repeat the show, he walked back by handing a catch to Mohammed Siraj. Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard failed to give a finish, as he was dismissed for 5 runs.
All of a sudden, the scorecard looked pretty poor for the team. The wickets at a regular intervals saw the decline in run rate, which brought Royal Challengers Bangalore back into the game.
For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Yuzvendra Chahal was the wrecker-in-chief with 4 wickets to his name. Meanwhile, Umesh Yadav also showed his brilliance by bowling exceptionally well.
However, Hardik Pandya’s blitz helped the visitors. In the end, Mumbai Indians managed to post 187 runs on the board. It is going to be a tricky chase for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Saini is brilliant bowler and Kohli loves the pace very much so I am expecting him in the national team very soon.#IPL2019

Hat-trick sixes by Yuvraj Singh before getting out. Quick fire 23 off 12 balls. 👏💪 #RCBvMI

#RCB won’t get far and it’s purely because they don’t have the bowling strength. So important to have 1 if not 2 quality overseas bowling, but RCB don’t have that. Same mistakes, another year! #RCBvMI #IPL12 #ipl2019 @RCBTweets

#RCBvMI Chahal spell was more of batsmen repeatedly playing the same shot and getting out rather than exceptional bowling.

Umesh spot on with this length there. Banging in short the ideal length against Krunal Pandya. The left-hander averages 8.6 at a strike rate of 116.2 facing deliveries behind the 9m mark in T20s. #IPL #RCBvMI
