IPL 2019: Twitter Reacts To Virat Kohli-AB de Villiers Show Against KKR
Apr 5, 2019 at 9:34 PM
Finally, the day came for Royal Challengers Bangalore to support their franchise with all their voices out. The two superstars of the game Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers went for a kill against Kolkata Knight Riders to make things fall in place for the team.
Initially, it was Dinesh Karthik, who won the toss, chose to bowl first. The wicket looked fantastic to bat, which was perfectly used by Virat Kohli and Co. The opener Parthiv Patel alongside Virat Kohli smashed KKR bowlers to all corners of the park in the powerplay overs.
Parthiv Patel continued his stunning form while Virat Kohli looked altogether in a different class. The duo added a fantastic 64 runs for the first wicket before Nitish Rana bagging the wicket of Parthiv Patel.
It was a blessing in disguise moment for Royal Challengers Bangalore, as AB de Villiers made his way into the crease. He took a couple of bowls to get into the momentum and then went for a kill at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The duo went on to add a massive partnership of 108 runs for the second wicket to put Royal Challengers Bangalore on a driver seat. Their partnership came to an end when Kuldeep Yadav plucked a fantastic return catch of Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli walked back with 84 runs to his name while AB de Villiers went on with his strokes. In between, Marcus Stoinis made his way to the crease, who smashed it beautifully to help RCB reach a massive score on the board.
In the end, the blitz from AB de Villiers and Co helped Royal Challengers Bangalore to post 205 runs on the board. For Kolkata Knight Riders, it was a nightmare with the ball.

Super knock from #Virat and #ABD!
But I reckon RCB are about 10 short here.
Given then nature of the pitch and the history of #RCB bowlers, it might be another tough night for the RCB fans tonight.
We're in for a cracker!#RCBvKKR #IPL2019

Akshdeep at 6…Negi at 7. While #RCB has got 7 bowling options, they’re incredibly light on batting. And it’s their batting that’s been a problem this season… #RCBvKKR #IPL

Fasten your seat belts…. I think AB is teeing off…

Irrespective of the result here, very impressed with DK captaincy today. Couldn't have done much on a bowlers graveyard. Fortunate he had three spinners otherwise could have been very ugly. #RCBvKKR
