IPL 2019: Watch Faf du Plessis Takes A Stunner To Dismiss Robin Uthappa
You may call Chennai Super Kings are a bit old-aged team but more often than not, they will give you enough reasons to call them a more experienced-side. Of late, they were on the headlines for their poor fielding, however, Faf du Plessis is turning the tables with his excellent fielding skills.
It was in the 11th over of the game when Imran Tahir delivers a ball in one of those uncomfortable zones for Robin Uthappa, who is facing his first delivery. In a double-mind, Uthappa went for his stroke with an angled bat. However, all he managed was a poor stroke, which lobbed the ball towards mid-off region.
Though the ball was dying in the no-mans land, then came the flying bird in the form of Faf du Plessis, who plucked it inches from the ground to send Robin Uthappa for a golden duck. In between, it was the second wicket in an over for Imran Tahir.
Coming into the match, initially, it was Chennai Super Kings, who won the toss, chose to bowl first. Things never looked in control for CSK, as Chris Lynn got his form back. He smashed it pretty easily facing CSK fast bowlers to hand KKR an initial advantage.
In between, Nitish Rana also showcased his skills with the bat for KKR. However, the 10th over from Imran Tahir changes the complexion of the game, as he bagged two wickets in two balls for KKR.
Despite the wicket, Chris Lynn never stopped himself from showing his Lynnsanity. The flamboyant striker of the ball muscled Ravindra Jadeja to three sixes in an over before losing his wicket to Imran Tahir once again.
