The 41st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will witness Mumbai Indians colliding against Chennai Super Kings at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.

Mumbai Indians will look to take revenge for their defeat in the season opener. Well, no change will be expected in their current playing XI because they have already a match-winning combination of players.

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma lost his wicket after scoring nine runs in the last match. He will also want to play a big knock against the straggling CSK.

Batting at number three position, Suryakumar has gathered 243 runs in nine matches. Whenever openers have lost their wickets early, the youngster has built partnerships except in the last match. He lost his wicket early. He will look to get good scores on board for Mumbai Indians in Sharjah.

Ishan Kishan starred for Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The youngster played a gritty knock of 99 runs to take MI close to the win. Although he is not a power hitter, he struck nine sixes. After that knock, however, he has lost his wicket early. But he has shown that his will and hunger to win can do wonders. Mumbai Indians will want him to bounce back stronger.

Hardik Pandya is being used only as a batsman by the Mumbai Indians captain. The fast bowling allrounder had come after recovering from the injury. So, MI is not taking the risk to rush him for bowling. So, far, with the bat, he has snared 164 runs in nine matches at the strike rate of 160.78.

Kieron Pollard is one of the biggest pillars of Mumbai Indians. In the last match as well, after the early fall of the top-order, he took the team to a fighting total of 176 runs after scoring 34* runs off 12 balls. He will trouble the CSK bowlers.

The spin bowling allrounder Krunal Pandya has contributed significantly with both bat and ball in all the matches. Against SRH, he scored 20 runs off just four balls, striking two boundaries and two sixes, while also with the ball, he picked one wicket. He is an integral part of the team and will be expected to produce similar spells for Mumbai Indians in the coming matches.

Rahul Chahar is the only in and out spinner that is playing for Mumbai Indians this season. He has given valuable contribution picking wickets of Virat Kohli, Ambati Rayudu and another crucial batsman to give a breakthrough to the team. Overall, he has picked up 11 wickets in nine matches.

Playing maiden season for Mumbai Indians, Trent Boult has become a crucial part of the team. With the new ball, he has produced magical spells to give a good start to the team. However, he could not defend 11 runs in the super over against Kings XI Punjab.

Overall, he has notched up 12 wickets in nine matches at the economy rate of 8.46.

James Pattinson is the replacement of Lasith Malinga in the Mumbai Indians squad. Having a huge responsibility to fill up the space of Malinga, Pattinson has performed exceptionally in seven matches. Overall, the Aussie has picked nine wickets in seven matches. He is going to play a key role for MI this season.

The World-Class bowler Jasprit Bumrah is the trump card of Rohit Sharma. He once again showed his worth after just conceding five runs while picking one wicket in super over against KXIP although end results could not be in favour of MI.
