Devdutt Padikkal has very well taken the responsibility to score runs at the top order. He has been good at setting up the targe but while chasing them, he has lost his wicket early. It might be a worrying factor for Royal Challengers Banglaore but the franchise will back him because he has the potential. Aaron Finch’s addition to Royal Challengers Bangalore has been a big boost for them this season. With the enormous experience in his hand, he can lead RCB to victories with his bat. Virat Kohli has found his form back after he scored unbeaten 72 runs against Rajasthan Royals to guide his team to victory. Against Delhi Capitals, he was the lone warrior for the team, scoring 43 runs. However, his knock was not sufficient to guide the team to victory. But the good news is that ventage Kohli is back and CSK might struggle against him.

AB de Villiers has got the added responsibility this season to don the gloves. He, however, is in his usual form and scoring runs for the team with being the power hitter. Mr. 360 will play a crucial role for RCB to guide them to victory against MS Dhoni’s XI.

Gurkeerat Mann Singh was benched in the last match against Delhi Capitals. He will be brought back into action seeing the combination of the team. Although he has been in playing XI in two matches, he has not got the opportunity to bat. Apart from batting, he is also a valuable asset in fielding.

6. Washington Sundar:

Washington Sundar starred for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the victory against Mumbai Indians. His excellent bowling in powerplay suffocated MI to score runs. The spinner also picked the prized wicket of Rohit Sharma. Moreover, he conceded no boundary in his four overs quota, registering an economy rate of 3.00.

Earlier, against Kings XI Punjab, he had also snared over 30 runs to show his batting prowess although RCB could not register the victory. In the match against RR, he didn’t get the chance to bat but was most economical bowling, giving away 20 runs in his four overs. So, Sundar’s position in RCB’s XI is undoubtedly locked.

7. Shivam Dube:

The towering allrounder is the power-hitter of the team. Although so far he has not enough chance to bat, Shivam has secured the opportunity of hitting big sixes and boundaries to release pressure for the team. The right-hand batsman had hit long sixes off Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling, showing his power with bat. Also, with the ball, the fast bowler has got the ability to pick wickets. Seeing his potential, Dube is likely to play all the matches of this season.

8. Navdeep Saini:

Navdeep Saini has become the backbone of RCB’s bowling attack. His four overs in every match are most precious and decisive for the team. The youngster’s super over spell and death over bowling against Mumbai Indians shows how talented he is.

In the last match against Delhi Capitals, he failed to pick the wickets and it had affected the team’s performance. He needs to bounce back stronger against CSK.
