IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals vs SunRisers Hyderabad – SRH Predicted XI

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play their third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday (September 29) at Sheikh Zyada Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

SunRisers Hyderabad has lost its consecutive two matches. They lost their opener match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and then, faced defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The franchise’s middle-order problem was again exposed in the two matches. If they didn’t soon find the right combination, they can end up losing the IPL title this year.

It’s important for them to win the match against DC to bring back themselves in the game. So, here we have discussed SRH’s predicted XI-

SunRisers Hyderabad predicted XI against Delhi Capitals:

1. David Warner (C)

SunRisers Hyderabad captain David Warner, the IPL 2019 orange cap winner, was unlucky in the opening match against RCB. He lost the wicket in a bizarre runout.

In the last match against KKR, he was out on the ball of mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy after scoring 36 off 30 balls. He needs to stay for longer in the field against Delhi Capitals to lead SRH to victory because the middle-order of the team is still weak.

2. Jonny Bairstow (wk)

Jonny Bairstow played a fighting knock in the opener although he could not lead his team to victory. He amassed 61 runs off 43 balls, striking six fours and two sixes.

But against KXIP, he lost his wicket after scoring five runs in 10 balls. He will surely going to be the crucial player for the team in the tournament and also in the coming match. It’s important for him to stay longer in the field.

3. Manish Pandey:

Manish Pandey has been given the responsible role at no. 3 although he, usually, bats at the middle order. Against RCB, he scored 34 off 33 balls and stitched a partnership with Bairstow to stabilize the innings for the team. While against KKR, the Indian cricketer amassed his fifty of this tournament. But both of his innings went into vain as SRH lost the match.

4. Priyam Garg:

The youngster Priyam Garg, who led the India U-19 team to the ICC U-19 World Cup 2020 grand finale, has the potential to build innings although he had not got enough time to bat so far. SRH has always struggled to find proper middle-order. The IPL 2020 debutant might be the answer to the franchise’s problem this season.

5. Wriddhiman Saha:

Wriddhiman Saha, who didn’t play the first match for SRH, was criticised for his performance against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He had to take the team’s score to second gear in the last over but he could not do so which costed the team. In 31 balls, Saha scored 30 runs, including one boundary and one six. With Kane Williamson still injured, he would be given the place.

6. Abhishekh Sharma:

Abhishek Sharma is the young talent and SunRisers Hyderabad gave him the place in the last two matches. He has not got enough chances to show his ability in both matches. The team will back him and give him an opportunity against Delhi Capitals.

7. Mohammad Nabi:

Mitchell Marsh’s place has been given to Mohammad Nabi in the playing XI after the former was ruled out after sustaining an injury. The Afghan player has impressed with the all-round performance in the T20 leagues across the globe.

In the last match, the spin-bowling allrounder was economical with the ball in his four overs quota but didn’t pick a wicket. He even didn’t get enough chance to bat. Against DC, his power-hitting will be needed to get SunRisers Hyderabad to the victory.

8. Rashid Khan

The spinner Rashid Khan is undoubtedly an integral part of SunRisers Hyderabad. He has emerged as of the finest spinners in international cricket. He has picked up one wicket in the last two much which is not par with the level of performances he has given. But his best will be round the corner. The Afghan Player will certainly play against DC.

9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The spearhead of the bowling attack, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, is coming after recovering from injury. Against RCB, he could not pick a wicket but was the economical bowler, giving away 25 runs in four overs. As the tournament will move on, he will come out as better because he hasn’t played matches since the start of 2020.

10. Khaleel Ahmed:

Khaleel Ahmed, the left-arm pacer, played the first match of IPL 2020 against KKR. He picked the early wicket of the opener Sunil Narine but Nitish Rana had brutally beaten him in his one over. The youngster conceded 28 runs in his three overs. He would be given chance against DC, seeing his past performances.

11. T Natarajan :

The left-arm pacer T Natrajan was included in the playing XI against RCB and picked the prize wicket of Virat Kohli. Against KKR, he picked the wicket of Nitish Rana. He is going to play a crucial role for SunRisers Hyderabad this season.
