SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) innings
On the fourth ball of that innings, Shreevats Goswami was dismissed by Mohammed Siraj for a duck. In the late moment of the powerplay, Siraj took another wicket as he dismissed another opener and captain David Warner for 17 runs. Though the on-field umpire originally gave not out decision in that caught behind the appeal, the RCB took the review and after monitoring closely along with using the Ultra Edge system, that decision was finally changed in RCB’s favour. However, there was no clear evidence to completely support any decision.
In the ninth over, Adam Zampa dismissed Manish Pandey for 24 runs. Later, in the 12th over, Yuzvendra Chahal took the wicket of Priyam Garg (7). At that stage, SRH were struggling on 67/4.
But Kane Williamson batted superbly which helped their side to fight back. Williamson and Holder put 65 runs partnership for the unbroken fifth wicket and it helped SRH to achieve the success in that chase.
In the final over, while SRH had to score 9 runs to win, pacer Navdeep Saini came to defend their total. While Williamson completed his fifty in 44 balls on the first ball of that over, Holder hit two consecutive fours on the third and fourth ball of that over after the dot ball of the second delivery of that over and guided their team to the victory.
While Williamson scored 50 not out off 44 balls (2 fours and 2 sixes), Jason Holder remained not out on 24 runs off 20 balls (3 fours).

Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal opened for RCB but they failed to provide a good start. In the second over, Jason Holder dismissed skipper Kohli for just six runs. Holder then dismissed Padikkal for just 1 run in his next over. But then Aaron Finch and AB de Villiers handled the early pressure situation in a better way as RCB scored 32/2.
They stretched the third wicket partnership to 41 runs before Finch was dismissed by Shahbaz Nadeem for 32 runs off 30 balls (3 fours and only six). Since then, RCB lost their wickets at regular intervals despite the hard-fought batting from AB de Villiers.
De Villiers completed his half-century in 39 balls. After scoring 56 runs off 43 balls, he was bowled by Thangarasu Natarajan in the 18th over. Apart from Finch and De Villiers, only Mohammed Siraj managed to reach the double-digit score in that innings as the lower-order batsman scored 10 not out off 7 balls (only four).
Among the SRH bowlers, Jason Holder bagged three wickets as he had the bowling figures of 4-0-25-3. Also, Thangarasu Natarajan (2/33) got two wickets and Shahbaz Nadeem (1/30) took one wicket.

#RCB paid heavy price for tactless and frankly poor batting. Bitter fight put up defending 131 was admirable, but should have scored 20-25 runs more. Paltry target made relatively it easy for #SRH, though there were tense moments. Williamson’s serene approach made the difference
