The 13th edition of the IPL is set to begin from September 19 till November 10, a total 53-day campaign will see all the eight teams play in UAE. The venue this time is UAE and matches will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
KXIP’s squad have already reached the venue, some foreign players will be reaching this week and players from Australia and England will be joining on 17th of September after their bilateral series.

On Tuesday, the Punjab based side tweeted a video of Mohammed Shami from their official twitter handle where he is doing his daily drill and gives a short talk on how to handle one more week of quarantine.

KXIP’s Bid To Win The IPL 2020
Pacer Mohammed Shami’s form would be a key for Punjab’s campaign this year. KXIP started both 2018 and 2019 campaigns strong but lost track in the later stages and failed to book a place in the playoffs
KL Rahul who is set to captain the KXIP side in IPL 2020 has expressed his relief of having Anil Kumble as coach by his side. Rahul said he would formulate most of the planning and I would execute it on the pitch.
“To have someone like Anil Bhai around helps me immensely this season. I share a very good relationship with him off the field, coming from the same state,” said KL Rahul in an interview to the IPL website.
“I think he will make my life as captain very easy. I know that he would be doing most of the planning and I just have to go out there and carry out the plans,” he added.
