Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday (October 30) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost their last two matches and would be eyeing to win against Hyderbad to grab two points and seal their spot in playoffs.
Here, let’s take a look at Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted XI against SRH:
Finally, Devdutt Padikkal went past powerplays in the last match against Mumbai Indians. He scored 74 runs off 45 balls and struck 12 boundaries although his innings went in vain. However, it will boost the confidence of the youngster.
RCB lacked to get a good start in the past couple of matches because Aaron Finch had struggled to set up a partnership with Padikkal. In the last match, the Aussie captain was dropped while Josh Philippe was given the opportunity to open. He impressed as Josh and Padikkal set up 71 runs partnership albeit the results don’t go in their favour.
Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli might be disappointed with his outing against MI. He consumed 14 balls but only scored nine runs before Jasprit Bumrah got his wicket. He will want to redeem against SRH.
AB de Villiers:
AB de Villiers has lost his wicket early in the last two matches, and it has affected the results as RCB has lost both the matches. Against SRH, he will want to stand up to his nickname ‘Super Human’ which he has earned this season after his powerful knocks.
Gurkeerat Mann Singh:
Gurkeerat Singh has got the opportunity to bat alongside AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli and scored 19* and 21* runs respectively to guide the team to victory. To stitch partnerships with two big players, it was good exposure for him. He will look to capitalise if he again gets the opportunity to bat against SRH.
Against CSK and MI, Washington Sundar went wicketless while conceded 27 and 20 runs respectively in his four overs quota. Although he was economical, the team needed him to give breakthroughs.
The spinner is pivotal for them in powerplays and will have to pick early wickets against SRH to set the momentum for them.
The tall fast-bowling allrounder Shivam Dube has not got enough opportunity in the last matches, but he will have to be ready to deliver whenever the captain asks him to. He is the power-hitter and has also got the knack of picking wickets.
Chris Morris has added balance to the team in the bowling department. He has given breakthroughs to the side while also is a good death over bowling option for them.
But against CSK and MI, he had not produced the desired results while also was expensive. He will look to bounce back stronger against SRH.
Isuru Udana has also got the knack for picking crucial wickets in crunch situations. He has snared seven wickets in eight matches, but he was dropped in the last two matches. As Navdeep Saini is injured and is likely to miss the match against SRH, he will get the place in the playing XI.
Yuzvendra Chahal is the go-to-man for Virat Kohli whenever the team needs a wicket. The spinner’s lethal weapon googly has delivered wickets to him. Although in the last match against MI, he picked the wicket of Ishan Kishan and Krunal Pandya, Royal Challengers Bangalore could not defend 166 run total.
Mohammed Siraj picked the early wicket of Quinton de Kock to set the momentum for Royal Challengers Bangalore, but Suryakumar Yadav demolished their plan. He also picked the wicket of Saurabh Tiwary. But eventually, RCB lost the match by five wickets.
