In Sharjah, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on  Saturday (October 31) in the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

SunRisers Hyderabad registered an emphatic win of 88 runs against Delhi Capitals in their last match. But Wriddhiman Saha, who starred for SunRisers Hyderabad in that victory, has sustained a groin niggle and is likely to be rested. And, the match against RCB is important for them to grab two points and climb up in the points table. Currently, they are at number six position in the points table.

Here, let’s take a look at SunRisers Hyderabad predicted playing XI for the fixture:

Jonny Bairstow (wk):

As Wriddhiman Saha is likely to miss the action, Jonny Bairstow will get his place back in the playing XI. In his last match against KXIP, he would be disappointed with his performance. While chasing the below-par target of 126 runs, he was out after scoring 19 runs off 20 balls. After his fall of a wicket, the team could not find stability and lost the match by 12 runs.

The England wicketkeeper-batsman will want to play a big knock against RCB, who is at number two position in the table.

David Warner:

After a disappointing match against KXIP, SRH captain David Warner went all gun blazing against Delhi Capitals. He amassed 66 runs off 34 balls and struck eight fours and two sixes. The Aussie will have to play similar innings against RCB to set the stage on fire from the very start of the game.

Manish Pandey:

Manish Pandey, who was the match-winner for SunRisers Hyderabad against Rajasthan Royals, scored 44 runs off 31 balls and struck four fours and one sixes.

The Indian batsman has very handled the pressure and took them across the line. His role will be crucial against RCB to keep their chances alive to secure a berth in the playoffs.

Abdul Samad:

Abdul Samad, the power-hitter, has featured in eight matches but has not got enough opportunities to bat. Contrastingly, he has also failed to prove his mettle whenever he has got the chance. With his short cameo in his first match, he had gathered a lot of praise. But the youngster has not stood up to the expectations of others. He will look to play a capitalise on the opportunity if he gets against RCB.

Vijay Shankar:

The allrounder had put in his best effort from batting to bowling but could not take the team across the line against KXIP. In the last match against DC, he picked the crucial wicket of Shreyas Iyer to take the game home. It would have boosted his confidence.

Jason Holder:

The allrounder was the match-winner with the ball for them against Rajasthan Royals. However, against KXIP, he disappointed with his batting but picked up two wickets. In the last match, he notched the wicket of Ravichandran Ashwin. Jason Holder will play a pivotal role to beat RCB.

Priyam Garg:

Priyam Garg had a huge responsibility to play as a finisher, but his performance has not been consistent. He was out after scoring three runs against KXIP even though the target was not daunting. With few matches left to play, the youngster will want to prove his worth.

Rashid Khan:

Rashid Khan had ticked all the boxes right, but the results have not gone in favour of SunRisers Hyderabad. But in the last match against DC, he demolished their batting order while also chocked them to score runs. He picked three wickets while gave away only 7 runs in his four overs quota.

The spinner is the leading wicket-taker for them, snaring 17 wickets in 12 matches.

Sandeep Sharma:

Sandeep Sharma got the prized wickets of DC batters Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant in the last match to take SunRisers Hyderabad close to victory. The speedster has picked up eight wickets in nine matches.

T Natrajan:

T Natrajan, the lynchpin of SunRisers Hyderabad, snared two wickets against DC while conceded 26 runs in his four overs quota. He has been praised for his execution of perfect yorkers. The Tamil Nadu cricketer is one of the best finds of this season.

Khaleel Ahmed:

Khaleel Ahmed, the left-arm pacer, has proved expensive throughout the tournament. In the last match against KXIP, he was the most expensive bowler and even didn’t pick wickets. But his replacement Shabaz Nadeem could not do much for SunRisers Hyderabad. So, he is likely to retain the place.
