IPL 2020: SunRisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals – SRH Predicted XI

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set to play their seventh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Sunday (October 11) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

After losing their first two matches, Sunrisers Hyderabad has worked upon their weakness and is at no.3 position in the points table. They have won three matches out of six played. On the other hand, the Rajasthan Royals’ batting order is struggling. So, SRH, having a more balanced side than KXIP, has the upper hand in the match.

Let’s take a look at how SRH’s playing XI will form against RR.

SunRisers Hyderabad predicted XI against Kings XI Punjab:

1. Jonny Bairstow (wk):

Jonny Bairstow is playing a crucial role for SunRisers Hyderabad this season. He has come out as the leading scorer for them in the last matches. The wicketkeeper-batsman amassed 97 runs off 55 balls, striking seven fours and six sixes, to guide SRH set up 201 runs against KXIP. If he delivers a similar performance against RR, the Hyderabad will be in a good position.

2. David Warner (c):

In the last six matches, David Warner has played more cautious innings considering the inexperienced middle-order. He has anchored the innings while has allowed Bairstow to play more freely. This strategy has worked for SunRisers Hyderabad to give them a stable start.

3. Manish Pandey:

Manish Pandey played gritty knocks in the first two matches, but after that, he has struggled to put a good score on the board. He has scored 34, 51, 3, 29, 30 and 1 respectively in the last six matches. Being at no.3, SunRisers Hyderabad will expect him to play a big knock to give a good start to the team.

4. Kane Williamson:

Kane Williamson has also not been able to score decent runs. Although the SRH batting order looks more reliable because of him, he has lost his wicket early and cheaply. After missing the first two matches, he has scored 41, 9, 3  and 20* in the last four matches. He will look to play a bigger knock against RR.

5. Priyam Garg:

After scoring a half-century against Chennai Super Kings, Priyam Garg has scored 8 and 0 in the last two matches. Although he had shown his potential with the bat, he needs to stay for a longer period in the field to keep things right on track for SunRisers Hyderabad.

6. Abhishek Sharma:

Abhishek Sharma has done a good job with both bat and ball for SunRisers Hyderabad. The youngster has not got enough chances to bat, but his short cameo has accelerated the innings for SRH. In six matches, the leg spinner has picked up two wickets and scored 80 runs.

7. Abdul Samad:

Abdul Samad has also been the great find of IPL 2020. He is a power hitter while also is a good bowling option for the captain. The youngster will be the one to look out this season.

8. Rashid Khan:

Rashid Khan is the lynchpin for SunRisers Hyderabad. The lone spinner in the team has the big responsibility to dismiss the batsman early. So far, he has picked up eight wickets in six matches at the staggering economy rate of 4.83. The Afghan player is surely going to trouble RR batsman on Sunday.

9. Sandeep Sharma:

Sandeep Sharma played the last match against Kings XI Punjab. Although he could not pick wickets, he was economical, conceding 27 runs in his four overs. The pacer’s ability to swing the ball has troubled batsman to not score runs against him.

10. Khaleel Ahmed:

The left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has not been economical but has picked crucial wickets. He has picked up four wickets in four matches at the economy rate of 9.32. He is still to match up to the expectation. But the youngster will maintain his spot in the coming games.

T Natarajan is in the terrific form. He has remarkably executed his yorkers even though dew makes it difficult to bowl in the second half. The pacer has picked up seven wickets in six matches at the economy rate of 8.31. The Tamil Nadu cricketer is going to play a significant role this season for SunRisers Hyderabad.
